 We enthusiastically Welcome you to the Mystic Monastery of St. John The Baptist of Monastic and indigenous healing. This site is home, unquestionably, to a profound quality of nature, which pulses energy dating as far back as 1200 A.D. The traditions of that time regarded the Tanama River as the most sacred  river in the Caribbean. Today, you'll find the  Indigenous Ceremonial Grounds and Museum at the head of the river flowing through the coastal plains 19.2 km until reaching the ocean. We embrace the gift to protect this land.
